![]() ![]() VIRGIN KLM managed to hack Kingdom Hearts 2 to run at 60FPS. It's probably possible to do so, but it'll require hacking. Quote:Is there no possible way around this? Why did some people even comment about running it at 60FPS if it's hard coded at 30? Bleh. Quote:Haven't run into this on PS1/2 emulation (mainly PS2), but the first Wii game I try to emulate has this issue.Ī lot of games are designed to run at 60FPS for the PS2. It'll only be smoother at a higher FPS like we're used to. Since the PC has a wide variety of hardware, they have to implement fixed time steps so that the game runs at the same speed regardless of the FPS. If a game is designed to run at 30FPS, running it at 60FPS would basically run the game at twice the speed. They aren't coding their games like PC developers do on the consoles the game speed is tied to the FPS. Console developers have a FPS target so they optimize their games to have it run stable at that FPS. To see some games actually hard coded to run at 30 FPS in an emulator is really disheartening. It's not hard coded to run at such a frame rate. My system specs are as follows.Īnd I get a decent 28 FPS on average both in battle and 100% speed in village.(10-21-2013, 11:22 PM)DAOWAce Wrote: I turned to emulation to run my games at 60FPS and at much higher resolution. I haven't even been able to get past that and in game to see if my fps would stay around 2 or not (kept pressing the button to accept changes for character creation and nothing happened, yet in the menu system the same button was fine). Launching (Monster Hunter Tri) and going through the menus I am getting 30fps, but once I hit the character creation screen it drops to 2 fps. I changed the DSP settings between LLE and HLE, and I also dumped the DSP Roms from my Wii to use with LLE too. Looks beautiful through and through and the FPS feels smoth and nice, but for some reason the audio stutters when there's a lot going on on the screen. I started off with a couple of issues of which alot of reading has solved, however this last one I cant seem to get rid of. When I play Monster Hunter Tri on 4.02, the video seems to work very well. If I missed any info that you need, just say so Has anyone else had the same problems with the same game? Or if anyone has any specific settings suggestions that hopefully I missed that would be great, thanks. I have not tried any other game as of yet, dont have any others at the moment. My system specs are as follows.Īs for my config with Dolphin, I've tried everything (to my knowledge) and some guides as well for changing specific settings to no avail. you need to emulate as a Wiimote with a nunchuck or a Wii Classic Controller. ![]() secondly, MH Tri does not support the Gamecube controller, at least according to the back of my box. please update to the Beta or Developer release before doing anything else. Reconnecting them just requires you to hit the reconnect wiimote option or hotkey (the aforementioned Alt F5. The Wii automatically disconnects Wiimotes after 5 minutes of inactivity, and Dolphin has to respect that. ![]() I started off with a couple of issues of which alot of reading has solved, however this last one I cant seem to get rid of.
